Community Sponsorships

Coca-Cola Young New Zealander of the Year

The flagship community sponsorship for CCANZ is the Young New Zealander of the Year Award. We are the category sponsor of the Young New Zealander of the Year Award, as part of the New Zealander of the Year Awards. The Coca-Cola Amatil Young New Zealander of the Year Award Acknowledges those aged 15 to 30 who are outstanding and exceptional young New Zealanders. Nominees should be young people who are striving to improve themselves and their communities and are brimming with the potential to produce a bright future for New Zealand.

The Coca-Cola Amatil (NZ) Young New Zealander of the Year Award gives special recognition to honour and encourage our leaders of tomorrow and promote youth leadership. The awards will seek out and promote the incredible achievements of individuals and community groups and create a sense of national pride, unity and inspiration through their example as mentors and role models to the wider community.

Coca-Cola Christmas in the Park
The Coca-Cola Christmas in the Park concerts in Auckland and Christchurch are one of the largest, free, family events on the Kiwi Christmas calendar. The magic of Christmas is bought to live in these outdoor concerts which feature some of the country's top singers, dancers, musicians, choirs and bands.

This year, Coca-Cola Christmas in the Park is supporting Surf Life Saving New Zealand, to help Kiwis have a safe summer at the beach.

Community Partnerships
CCANZ partners with a number of different organisations to make a difference. Some of the organisations we are currently working with include:

Love NZ - making it easy for Kiwis (and visitors to Aotearoa) to recycle when they're out and about.

Keep New Zealand Beautiful - we've worked with KNZB beautiful for many years, we now help them to further environmental education in the community via accessing grant funding from the global Coca-Cola Foundation.

Prime Minister's Youth Development Programme - we help to make a difference to these students who have overcome adversity to make ongoing positive life changes.

First Foundation - we're delighted to offer a helping hand to students from low-decile schools to support their dream of receiving tertiary education through the First Foundation's scholarship programme.
